Forest Gump used stock footage with special fx to make it look as if Forest Gump was meeting famous historic figures like John F. Kennedy, Richard Nixon, and John Lennon.
I could not find the scenes where Forest Gump meets JFK, Nixon or Lennon. So you will have to watch the movie on your own time and see how the producer used stock footage.
